Rotomolded Tanks at installed sites, mainly Large Tanks with
Airtight threaded lids.
The reason being, there is Air inside the Tanks, and when
the Tank is filled with Water, this Air looks for escape route.
If it does not find the escape route, the Tank becomes highly
pressured, just like a pressure vessel. if the body of the Tank
is weak, it becomes bloated. It also puts pressure on weak
parts of the Tank, which, against constant pressure and
pressure release (when the water is taken out of the Tank)
becomes prone to Cracks.
To avoid all these, put a simple Plastic Air Vent on the tank.
When the Tank is filled with Water, the Air is released
through it and when the the tank is emptied, the Air is
sucked in through it, Simple. Hope this helps.
